About the Temporary Port Pass

The St.Vincent and the Grenadines Port Authority issues to its visiting customers a Temporary Port Pass, which is obtained by presenting a valid national I.D. or valid passport, along with the showing of shipping documents as relevant to the nature of the visit (e.g. Cargo Manifest and Bill of Sight as supplied by your shipping agent). The I.D. is retained only for the duration of visit and is collected in person on return of the temporary port pass. The Port Authority does not retain personal details on customers.

At the Port of Kingstown, the temporary port pass is issued at the Port Police booth at the Kingstown Administrative Building (adjacent to C.K. Greaves Supermarket). Please follow the sign at the gate entrance between the port building and C.K. Greaves Supermarket..

At the Campden Park Container Port, the temporary port pass is issued at the Port Police's booth at the entrance gate to the port complex.

Goods entering or leaving the port are security checked by the Port Police at the security gates. As the Port Authority endeavors always to ensure the safety of visitors and goods, the patience and co-operation of visitors is appreciated in realizing smooth and hassle-free passage of its valued customers.
