Pilotage





The St.Vincent and the Grenadines Port Authority has a highly efficient pilot service available on request. Local shipping agents must inform the Port Authority 48 hours prior to arrival in order for pilotage to be arranged. All details must be submitted to the Chief Pilot <hyperlink> at Port Kingstown.

Pilotage is however compulsory for vessels over 100 grt, except for naval vessels.

Channels 16 and 11 are used for all  VHF radio communications.
